Happy Monday! Did you have a nice weekend? We're coming off of a week of school vacation. We had some nice down time, mixed with some fun stuff too, like bowling and a visit to the aquarium. Now I'm ready to get back into our "regular" weekly routine.
Please forgive the unclear photo of this page. It's been next to impossible to take photos lately with all of the cloudy/snowy weather we've been having.
This page made me realize that there aren't many collections or papers with royal blue in them (or maybe it was just hard finding this color in my stash). Next time I'm buying Alexa a sled in a more neutral color to make my scrapping easier. LOL! I worked around the issue by bringing in a lot of color, focusing primarily on turquoise and hot pink to complement Alexa's mittens. Thankfully Bella Blvd.'s Winter Wonder collection came to the rescue and worked...well, wonders! :)

ReplyDeleteWow - I love the colors you brought into this layout! It's not your typical snow page! And yes, you must make those careful decisions about sled color in the future because it just will no do to have it clash with pattern papers! LOL :)

ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun, happy page. I love all the pops of pink. It looks so nice how you pulled that color into the page from Alexa's mittens. Great design. Love all the stickers scattered around. You do such a great job putting a little of this here and there and making it look just so. Great pics, too.
