A couple of weekends ago, we went leaf peeping at Letchworth State Park in Mt. Morris, NY. It's considered to be the Grand Canyon of the east. The views were breathtaking and the foliage was spectacular. This is an accidental shot I got as I was panning the area for a foliage photo. I love how it contrasts the living, orange leaves with the brittle and dry branch next to it. Definitely a time of transition...
