I spied this interesting collection of lumpy and bumpy pumpkins at the farm last week. Turns out they are specifically bred for their warts. The sugar content of these pumpkins is so high, the skin fractures, and the pumpkin develops warts. Who knew? Oh, and cucurbits are the family name of fruits belonging to the gourd family. Just a little bit of trivia for you today. :)

Leaf Pile
Of her own accord, Alexa raked up a big leaf pile in the back yard. Lest you think she was being a good doobie (like I did) with regard to yard clean up, her intention was to create a pile she could jump in. LOL!

From Apples to Applesauce
